Releases Statement Concerning the Death of Eve Carson,
Student Body President, UNC Chapel Hill

Eve Carson was a supporter and friend of the Jim Neal for U.S. Senate campaign. Jim Neal released the following statement today:

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Carson family at this heartbreaking time. We share their grief. All of us who knew Eve were brightened by her optimism and idealism, her intelligence and wit, but most of all, her joy for life. Eve had a deep commitment to making the world a better place, and she succeeded. Eve inspired us to work for the dreams we share and she will continue to inspire me.”
