Neal to Join Emancipation Celebration in Winston Salem

Candidate for U.S. Senate to join Elected Officials, Community members in celebration

Jim Neal, candidate for U.S. Senate, will be attending Emancipation Celebration services, tomorrow, January 1st, at 11am, at the Union Chapel Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. The services are sponsored by the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emancipation Association.

Candidate Neal will be joining elected officials, candidates, community leaders, and hundreds of community members to celebrate the Emancipation Proclamation, issued by President Lincoln on January 1st, 1863.
